• You can track feedback/comments from clients, and co-counsel, and review an audit trail that tracks who has reviewed a document 
• Each extranet includes automated redlines between document versions, and an integrated metadata scrubber 
• The extranet system fully integrates with your local network or document management system, including replication and synchronization
• System Security and user permissions are granular, permitting your firm to specify access rights down to the item level within an extranet
• Users can be alerted via email each time a document or item is added or updated, so the collaborative process can be monitored. These email notifications can be instantaneous or in the form of a daily digest

Secure Deal Rooms and Virtual Data Rooms
The extranet system lets you upload documents and mark them as secure. These documents can only be viewed on the web.  Users cannot print, save or copy content from these documents. Set granular permissions to allow access only to specific folders or documents.

Customizable App Builder
Our App Builder lets you create custom, web-enabled applications within any given matter in minutes.  These can be securely shared with any parties with which you wish to provide access.  For example:  Let’s say a company is involved in Merger & Acquisition transaction, and a firm has been engaged to perform due diligence.  As firm attorneys come upon problematic documents, they can be set aside in a Due Diligence App.  Attorneys from different locations/firms can contribute to the records and even add new records, and the client can review it at any time.

Calendar Feature with Outlook Integration
Share key events with your Client.  The extranet lets you view multiple matter calendars in one view. It also allows you to copy Calendar Events from Outlook to the Extranet and from the Extranet to Outlook. Use Event Reminders as a tickler system.

System Reporting
You can create custom reports to track information within the system.  This can include marketing oriented information (i.e. how many extranets have been created for various clients, practice groups, office location, etc.) as well as matter-specific reports (number of documents for each extranet, who accessed them, etc.)

Secure Threaded Discussions
The extranet permits secure discussions where users can privately discuss key matters. Communications can be organized by topic within a Matter and permissions can be set granularly to allow only a few people to participate or many.  This works better than e-mail for ongoing discussions, as users always have access to an organized, dated thread of information containing all previous comments.

Notes/Bulletin Board Tool
The Notes feature provides a forum for posting one-time messages.  This feature can be used for posting regular Status Reports, a list of closed cases, or notes on key points of law.

Full Text Searching
The extranet includes a robust full-text search engine that lets you search all information within the system, including document content.

Tasks
The Tasks feature integrates with MS Outlook and provides simple project management capabilities.

Surveys
The extranet lets users create client-facing surveys and questionnaires.  Many firms use this tool to create simple information intake forms, business development, and client satisfaction surveys.

Web Links
Create links to other websites that can simplify the research or information needs of your extranet members.
